Pros and Cons of HTML and WYSIWYG:
Pros: HTML is cleaner, appoximately one third less code, The webmaster can find and place stings of code needed to be edited faster and helps speed up loading time.
WYSIWYG website takes less time to build so the site is made a little faster, and pretty much anyone can do it with very little training.
Cons: Basic HTML isnt for the faint of heart, It takes approximately 40 hours to fully undrstand how it works, Then there is CSS, Div, SSI, ASP, CGI and JavaScript.
WYSIWYG Programs are resource hungery, slower loading time, even though you can edit in HTML you really need an excellent understanding, removing or changing the smallest peice of code can unraval your templates layout.
